THE VELOMOBILE PACK
New from Radical Design the Velomobile Pack is the first storage bag specially designed for velomobiles. Suitable for use with the Quest, Mango, Team or Cab-Bike it is placed against the left side wall, where it fits just between seat and front wheel. The Velomobile Pack is reinforced with foam, so that it stands up against the outer fairing by itself. The bottom is slanted slightly, allowing it to follow the shape of the lower fairing and preventing it from tipping over. On the outside of the bag there are two mesh pockets to store small items, and inside the pack there is one more pocket for separate storage. A shoulder strap comes standard with the Velomobile Pack, so you can easily take it with you on a walk. Priced at $110 CDN and available in red, black or blue.
TERRACYCLE IDLERS
You'll wonder how you ever got by without them. CNC machined idlers with tight tolerances deliver more power to your drive train and are quieter, smoother, and allow the chainline to run with less vibration. The drive train is one place on a velomobile that deserves the best parts available. Idler upgrade kits are now available for the Quest, starting at $95 CDN.

So you like riding head-out most of the time, but wouldn't mind a little protection when that cold rain starts to fall. Originally designed with the Versatile in mind, Flevobike's striking design has been adopted for use by Team, Mango, Quest and Alleweder owners alike. Comfortable, durable and providing excellent ventilation, Ventisit cushions are a fantastic
choice for recumbent cyclists. Available in a range of sizes and shapes to fit almost any

BIONX ELECTRIC ASSIST
Although every effort is made to reduce the weight of a velomobile through the use of light weight
materials and efficient design, no velomobile can be expected to compete with an unfaired
recumbent trike on the scales.
In most circumstances, the added weight is more than compensated for by improved
aerodynamics. This effect is evident when cruising at speed on level gound, or even up a slight
incline. However, the impact of that extra weight can become noticeable during acceleration and,
understandably, has a significant effect when climbing steeper grades. We can cheat the wind,
but there is no escape from gravity.
In anticipation of the fact that some bluevelo customers will prefer a little assistance on those
steeper climbs, or simply wish to conserve energy during the morning ride to work and arrive
sweat-free, bluevelo is pleased to announce that we are an authorized dealer of BionX products.
The BionX system is designed and manufactured in Canada. It features a hub motor and regenerative
braking system that is perfectly suited for use with the TEAM or Cab-Bike. The system is
available in a variety of configurations, with prices starting at $1,790 Cdn.
